Idimuzhikkal Thiruvangattu Shiva Temple – Festival

Idimuzhikkal Thiruvangattu Shiva Temple, also known as Thiruvangattu Mahashiva Kshetram, is located at Idimuzhikkal Kakkanchery – Chelambra in Malappuram district, Kerala. The main deity worshipped in the temple is Shiva. A swayambhu Shivling is worshipped in the temple. There is also a Ganga Devi temple here. The temple is located amidst sylvan surroundings. The popular belief is that the temple was consecrated by Parashurama. There is a perennial water source atop a rock here. It is considered to be the Holy Ganga River. The annual pratishta festival in the temple is held in Malayalam Edava Masam (May - June).

Ramanattukara Rameshwaram Shiva Temple – Festival

Ramanattukara Rameshwaram Shiva temple is located at Ramanattukara in Kozhikode district, Kerala. This an ancient shrine dedicated to Shiva. The most important festival is the Maha Shivratri festival in Kumbha Masam (February - March). The annual festival is famous for pujas and rituals. Kondazhi Thritham Thali Shiva Parvathy temple, also known as Thrithamthali Shiva temple, is located at Kondazhy in Thrissur district, Kerala. This is an ancient temple dedicated to Shiva.
