Thirunarayanapuram Vishnu Temple – Festival

Thirunarayanapuram Vishnu Temple is located on the Shoranur – Perinthalmanna road near Kattuppara in Malappuram district, Kerala. The temple is dedicated to Bhagavan Vishnu. The annual pratishta festival in the temple is held in Kumbha masam (February – March).

This is a small temple located amidst beautiful surroundings. The main deity is a chatur bahu Vishnu worshipped inside a Chathura sreekovil – square sanctum sanctorum. The shrine has a chuttambalam and namaskara mandapam. The Kuntiuzha River flows nearby.

Narayaneeyam parayanam, chuttu vilakku, sheeveli, annadanam and cultural programs are observed on the prathishta day.

Thursdays, Vishu, Ramayana Masam and Sri Krishna Jayanti are important days in the temple.
