Sukapuram Chambramanam Maheshwara temple is located at Sukapuram on Palakkad – Ponnani road near Edappal in Malappuram district, Kerala. The temple is dedicated to Shiva – Mahadeva. The annual Shivratri festival is an important occasion in the shrine.
The sankalpam of Shiva here is that of Ardhanarishwara. A shivling is worshipped in the sanctum sanctorum. The temple has a two tier square sanctum sanctorum – chathura sreekovil. The upa devatas worshipped in the temple are Ganapathy, Devi and Sastha.
The annual festival is famous for various pujas, uma maheshwara puja, udayasthamana pooja, niramala, abhishekams and homams. Temple art forms, and melam are part of the annual festival.
The shrine also observes Ramayana Masam, Vinayaka Chaturthi, Mandala Kalam, Thrikarthika and Thiruvathira in Dhanu Masam.
