Chemmanathukara Sreenarayaneshwarapuram Subrahmanya Swami Temple

Chemmanathukara Sreenarayaneshwarapuram Subrahmanya Swami Temple is an ancient temple associated with Sri Narayana Guru, philosopher and social reformer of Kerala. The temple is located at Chemmanathukara in Kottayam district, Kerala.

The murti of Subrahmanya worshipped in the temple was consecrated by Sri Narayana Guru in January 1921 CE.

Thaipooyam and Mahashivratri are two of the important festivals in the temple.

The Upa Devatas worshipped in the temple are Sastha or Ayyappa, Ganapati, and Goddess Bhadrakali.

Thalappoli procession is a major event during the annual festival. The annual festival is famous for ezhunellippu, Kerala temple folk arts, and caparisoned elephant procession.

The shrine observes all the auspicious days associated with Sri Narayana Guru Devan.
