Adhara Bhedas is the movement of the lower lip in dance. Indian classical dance consists of two parts – nritta (pure dance) and nritya with abhinaya (dancing with miming and gesticulation). Facial expressions in nritya with gestures express emotions. Natyashastra (200 BCE to 200 CE) contains a detailed analysis of the movements of angas (major limbs) and upangas (minor limbs) of the body. Elayavoor Muchilot Kavu temple is located at Elayavoor in Kannur district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Goddess Muchilottu Bhagavathi. The annual theyyam thira kaliyattam festival is held for four days in Malayalam Vrischika Masam – Vrischikam 25 to Vrischikam 28 (December 11 to December 14). The important theyyams that can be witnessed at Elayavoor Muchilottu Kavu temple are Kannangattu Bhagavathi theyyam, Vishnumoorthi theyyam, Narambil Bhagavathy theyyam, Puliyoor Kali, Puliyoor Kannan, Gulikan and Muchilottu Bhagavathi theyyam.
