- The mantra should be chanted daily morning.
- After taking bath, offer prayers to Ganesha in mind.
- Then wear yellow color clothes and sit facing east.
- First place a picture or murti of Maa Lakshmi on a yellow color cloth.
- Take a white cloth and smear some haldi (turmeric powder) on it.
- Keep seven shells (कौड़ी) in the white cloth smeared with turmeric.

- Light lamp using pure cow ghee.
