Ayyappilly Daivam theyyam kolam is a very rare theyyam performed during the annual theyyam kaliyattam festival in Kannur and Kasaragod region of Kerala. As per information, the theyyam is dedicated a person who was alive. Ayyappilly Theyyam story is that of Ayyappilly, a Pulayan, was shot and killed by an army commander, Kolamudi Manna, who was on his way to participate in a war.
