Pottayil Bhagavathy temple –Subrahmanya temple is located at Eroor south in Tripunithura district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Subrahmanya and Goddess Bhagavathi. Annual festival is held in Kumbha Masam. Thaipooyam in Makara Masam is another important festival.
The temple is associated with Sri Narayana Guru.
The shrine has square sanctum sanctorum or chathura sreekovil for Bhagavathy and Subrahmania. The temple also has numerous other upa devatas including Ayyappa, Shiva and Ganapathy.
The annual festival is mainly famous for the participation of hundreds of people. Floats, tableau, procession, pujas and rituals are part of the festival.
The shrine observes all the auspicious days associated with Sri Narayana Guru. Ramayana masam and Vrischika masam (mandala kalam) are held in the temple.
