Azhikode Parayangattu Kshetram Muneshwara Mandiram (അഴീക്കോട് പരയങ്ങാട്ട് ക്ഷേത്രം മുനീശ്വര മന്ദിരo) temple is located at Azhikode in Kannur district, Kerala. The 3-day Thira festival is an important event in the temple.
The festival is famous for the performance of various traditional rituals and pujas.
Thottangal (തോറ്റങ്ങൾ), Rakteshwari (രക്തേശ്വരി ) and Sasthappan (ശാസ്തപ്പൻ) thira (തിറകൾ ) are performed on the first day.
Prasada Sadya (പ്രസാദസദ്യ), Thee Chamundi Anthithotam (തീച്ചാമുണ്ഡിയുടെ അന്തിത്തോറ്റം) and Theeppanakkam (തീപ്പണക്കം) are performed on the second day.
On the third day early morning Bharivan Thira Tharpanam (ഭൈരവൻ തിറയുടെ തർപ്പണം) is done. Then there is the agni praveshanam of Thee Chamundi (തീച്ചാമുണ്ഡിയുടെ അഗ്നിപ്രവേശം). This is followed by Pottan, Gulikan, Ucchitta and Raktha Chamundi Thira kettiyattom (പൊട്ടൻ, ഗുളികൻ, ഉച്ചിട്ട, രക്തചാമുണ്ഡി തിറകളുടെ കെട്ടിയാട്ടം).
The festival concludes with the koodiyattam (കൂടിയാട്ട) of all the thiras in the afternoon.
The Guru samadhi in the temple is held in Meena Masam (March - April).
