The puja for a new stove should be offered to Goddess Annapurna, the goddess of food in Hinduism. Here is a brief idea on how to do puja for a new stove?
After placing the stove in kitchen, offer prayers to Goddess Annapurna. Then apply sandal paste on four sides of the stove.
Chant the mantra – ह्रीं अन्नपूर्णायै नम:॥ (Hreem Annapurnaye Namah) – 21 times. The first offering prepared should be a sweet made using jaggery. You can also simply boil milk.
The sweet or milk should be shared among those residing in the house.
