Akaloor Lakshmi Narasimha Moorthy temple is located at Akalur near Lakkidi in Palakkad district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Lakshmi Narasimha form of Bhagavan Srihari Vishnu. The annual pratishta festival in the temple is held in Makaram month.
This is a small temple located amidst beautiful surroundings. The main deity is worshipped inside a vatta sreekovil – round sanctum sanctorum. There is a pond on the side of the shrine known as Thirthakulam. The temple also has upa devatas including Dharma Sastha. The shrine includes a chuttambalam.
Sapthaham is held annually in the temple.
