Goddess Deeksha Devi

Goddess Deeksha Devi is one among the 37 Goddesses that appeared from the Amsha Avatars of Goddess Shakti. She is the consort of Yagna Deva. She blesses and provides pure knowledge to devotees.

Legend has it that from Moola Prakriti (Mother Goddess Shakti) appeared Bhagavan Vishnu. To begin creation, five female forms appeared from Bhagavan Vishnu they are Durga, Lakshmi, Saraswati, Savitri and Radha. From these five Goddesses appeared six other Goddess - Ganga, Tulsi, Manasa Devi, Devasena Devi, Mangala Chandika and Bhumi Devi.

From these six goddesses appeared 37 other Goddesses as per Devi Bhagavatam.

Goddess Deeksha Devi is one among the 37 Goddesses.
