Pallassana Kirathamoorthy temple is located at Pallassana village on the Kollemcode – Alathur road in Palakkad district, Kerala. The Vela festival is observed on Medam 2 and Kanniyar Kali is observed on Medam 10.
The main deity worshipped in the temple is Vettaikaran – Kirathamoorthy form of Shiva. The deity faces east and pujas are offered three times.
The Upa Devatas worshipped in the temple are Ganapathy and Kattil Bhagavathy (Nanadurga).
1200 coconuts are offered (thrown) for Kirathamoorthy. This is a unique ritual in the temple after a wish fulfillment.
