There is a famous miracle of Sri Raghavendra Swamy reviving a boy who had died due to an unfortunate incident. Sri Raghavendra Swamy during one of his regular tours happened to stay at the house of one Desai at Kiritagiri, now in Gadag District in Karnataka.
The family prepared special dishes, including the delicacy seekarni (sugar mixed with mango juice) to be served to the seer and his accompanying followers.
Unfortunately, the only son o the couple fell into the vessel in which the delicacy was being prepared and died.
Sri Raghavendra Swamy who came to know about the death of the boy, asked the parents to bring the child to him. He sprinkled holy water from his Kamandala on the boy.
To the astonishment of the people the boy arose as if from a sleep and ran up to the parents.
There are numerous such incidents of Sri Raghavendra Swamy reviving the dead using holy water.
