Garhmukteshwar Ganga Fair – Garh Ganga Fair 2024 date

Garhmukteshwar Ganga Fair, also known as Garh Ganga Fari, is held in Kartik Month. Garhmukteshwar is located on the banks of Ganga and is an important holy place in Hinduism. Garh Ganga Fair 2024 date is November 14 and November 15.

More 600,000 people take holy dip at Garh Ganga on Kartik Purnima.

There are four temples dedicated to Goddess Ganga at Garhmukteshwar. Another popular shrine here is the Mukteshwar Mahadev dedicated to Shiva.

It is believed that taking holy in Ganga here will help in sin redemption and in attaining Moksha or liberation.

The spot is an important sacred location for performing Shradh and Tarpan dedicated to dead ancestors.

Garhmukteshwar is located 32 km east of Hapur and 65 km east of Ghaziabad.

Gadho-ka-Mela is also part of Garh Ganga Fair. In the fair, more than 50,000 horses, donkeys and ass are sold in the fair.
