Arthikulangara Devi temple is located at Thuravoor in Alappuzha district. The temple is managed by Tirumala Devaswom. The shrine is dedicated to Goddess Bhagavathi. The main subsidiary deity worshipped in the temple is Yakshi.
This is an ancient temple associated with the Thirumala Devaswom, the biggest and most important socio-religious institution of Gowda Saraswat Brahmins of Kerala.
This ancient shrine is note for its traditional architecture and unique structures belonging to ancient times.
The most important week-long festival in the temple is held in Dhanu Masam (December – January).
The temple is open from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM in the morning and from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM in the evening.
A unique offering in the temple to Yakshi is uzhunnu vada.
