Seethayum Makkalum theyyam is a rare theyyam performed during the annual thira – kaliyattam festival in Kannur and Kasargod districts of Kerala. The theyyam is based on the stories of Rama abandoning Sita in the Uttara Ramayana. This theyyam is also known as Athiralavum (അതിരാളവും മക്കളും) theyyam.
This theyyam is performed Andalurkavu Temple located at Andalur in Dharmadam Village in Kannur district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Bhagavan Sri Rama who is worshipped here as Daivathar.
