Angakkulangara Bhagavathy theyyam is performed in several temples, kavu and tharavadu (traditional homes) during the annual theyyam – thira – kaliyattam festival in Kannur and Kasaragod districts of Kerala. As per information, Ankakkulangara Bhagavathy theyyam appeared to help her devotees in war.
