Ardha Chamundi theyyam is a rare theyyam performed in a couple of temples in Kannur region of Kerala. As per information, the theyyam is mainly performed at Kanhileri Ardha Chamundi temple. The story of Ardha Chamundi theyyam is that of her appearing from a homa or yajna kunda (sacrificial fire) of Bhagavan Paramashiva.
It is believed that the deity fulfills the desires of devotees.
