Melkulangara Mahavishnu temple is located at Melkulangara near Vayakal in Kollam district, Kerala. The annual festival in the temple is observed on Thiruvonam nakshatra day in Meda Masam (April – May). The temple is dedicated to Vishnu Bhagavan.
This is a very small temple with a chathura sreekovil and huge tree in front of it.
The annual festival in the temple involves melam, procession and pujas and rituals.
Vaishna pujas and rituals including niramala, abhishekam, kalasham and various homams are part of the annual festival.
The temple also observes Vishu, Thiruvonam and Mandala Makaravilakku kalam.
