Elayavoor Neeliyath Akathoot Peringoth temple is located at Elayavoor in Kannur, Kerala. The temple is dedicated Shiva. The annual festival in the temple is held in Malayalam Meda Masam (April – May).
This is a small traditional temple. The sankalpam of Shiva here is that of Kirathamoorthy. Goddess Parvati is worshipped here as Kirathi.
The most important ritual during the annual festival is the drawing of kolam of Kirathamoorthy and Kirathi. Special pujas and rituals that are part of Shiva temples in Kannur region are performed on the occasion.
Thrikarthika in Vrishicka Masam and Thiruvathira in Dhanu Masam are observed in the temple.
