Vaniyamkulam 24 Manai Telugu Chettiar Mariamman temple is located at Vaniamkulam (Ottapalam) in Palakkad district, Kerala. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Mariamman. The annual Pratishta festival in the temple is held in Malayalam Meda Masam (April – May).
This is a small temple following Tamil rituals.
The annual kodiyettam festival in the temple is held in Malayalam Edava masam (May - June).
The annual festival is famous for Thavil,
melam, nadaswaram, procession, ezhunnallathu, caparisoned elephants and unique
pujas and rituals.
The shrine also observes Navratri festival and many unique rituals in Aadi masam.
