Pozhiyoor Mahadeva temple is located on Uchakkada - Kulathoor Road at Pozhiyoor in Thiruvananthapuram district, Kerala. The temple is dedicated to Shiva or Mahadevan. The annual festival in the temple is held in Malayalam Meda Masam and is known as Meda Thiruvathira.
This is a small traditional temple with a chathura sreekovil, kodimaram, namaskara mandapam, pond and nalambalam. The temple has an east facing sreekovil.
The temple festival is famous for ezhunnallathu, tantric pujas and rituals. Rudra homam, kalasham, and various dhara are part of the rituals in the temple.
The shrine also observes Pradosham, Thiruvathira in Dhanu Masam and Mahashivratri festival.
