Adampillykavu Bhadrakali temple is located at Vadakkekotta near Tripunithura in Ernakulam district, Kerala. The temple is also known Adampallikavu. The main deity worshipped in the temple is Goddess Bhadrakali and the shrine is unique as the sreekovil or the sanctum sanctorum has two vigrahams of the same murti. The vigrahams in the sreekovil are made out of wood – Dharuvigraha Pratishta. It is rarest of rare to have two vigrahams of the same deity in the same sanctum. It is believed that the new vigraham of Bhadrakali was installed in the sanctum and the shakti from the old vigraham was supposed to transferred into the new one. But it became impossible to transfer the complete shakti from the old Vigraham and therefore it could not be removed. So both vigrahams are worshipped now. Solitude in Hinduism – Ekanta – Ekantin

Ekanta means solitude in Hinduism. A person is called ekantin if he has one-pointed devotion and is of great importance in spiritual life. Ekantin is a spiritual aspirant for whom God is the means as well as the end. The aim of solitude by a Hindu devotee is to be one with god – personal deity – for contemplation. An ekantin does not desire any identity mark which would only increase his ego; he simply would like himself to be referred to as servant of God. For an ekantin God is the ultimate goal but the devotee has karma yoga, jnana, yoga etc as the means. All these means are in a sense temporary ends(avantara phala) till the attainment of the final goal. Karma Yoga, Jnana Yoga etc are called sadhana or sadhya upayas. Goddess Devi Worshipped As Energy In Hinduism

There are many concepts of Shakti worship in Hinduism and one of the foremost among it is the worship of Goddess Devi as energy. In every visible matter, invisible power energy is embedded. The soul energy embedded within is delineated as Prana, Bhuti, Dhwani, Teja and Prabha in philosophical language. In some of the epics and books of tantrism, it is depicted as Radha, Lakshmi, Saraswati, Durga and Savitri respectively. The philosophical concept "Ya Devi Sa Devata" scientifically means "matter is force and conversely force is matter." Both are inseparable as Moon and the moon-light or fire and the heat.
