Dhata Yoga happens when

  1. Rohini nakshatra falls on Sunday or Ravivar
  2. Pushya or Poosam or Pooyam nakshatra falls on Monday or Somvar
  3. Uttara Phalguni or Uthiram nakshatra falls on Tuesday or Mangalvar
  4. Vishaka or Vishakam nakshatra falls on Wednesday or Budhwar
  5. Purvashada or Pooradam nakshatra falls on Thursday or Guruvar
  6. Dhanishta or Avittam nakshatra falls on Friday or Shukravar
  7. Revati nakshatra falls on Saturday or Shanivar.

The yog ends on the day when the nakshatra period ends. Dhata Yoga is present only when the corresponding nakshatra is present on the particular day of a week.
