Elamgulam Mutharamman Kovil is located at Elamgulam in Kottayam district, Kerala. The temple is dedicated to Mutharamman – a powerful form of Mother Goddess Durga. Elamgulam Mutharamman temple is managed and maintained by Kerala Vanika Vaisya Sangam.
The famous Ammankudam festival in the temple is held in Makaram month. The shrine is also an important center for Rahu Dosha pariharam in the region.
The temple has a unique sreekovil or sanctum sanctorum. The temple also has a couple of small shrines dedicated to Upadevatas.
The shrine also has a special place dedicated for Sarpa Puja – Noorum Palum is offered here on Ayilyam nakshtram in Malayalam month.
Navratri is another important festival in the temple.
Naranga Vilakku is an important offering in the shrine.
