Sree Poomala Kavu temple, also known as Pattuvam Poomala Bhagavathy temple, is located at Pattuvam in Kannur district, Kerala. This is a small traditional temple dedicated to Goddess Poomala. The shrine is dedicated to Adi Shakti. The annual Kaliyattam theyyam festival is held in Makaram month.
The theyyam festival is held here for 6 days mostly during the first week of February.
The theyyams performed here are Gulikan theyyam, Poomaruthan theyyam, Raktha Chamundi theyyam and Vishnumurthy theyyam.
