Thali Pindalikkunnu Subrahmanya Swami Temple

Pindalikkunnu Subrahmanya Swami temple is located at Ittonam - Thirumittacode -II in Palakkad district, Kerala. The shrine is around 15 km south of Pattambi. The temple is known as Malabar Pazhani. The shrine is dedicated to known Subrahmanya or Muruga. The annual Thaipooyam festival observed in Makaram Masam (January – February) is of great importance in the temple.

The temple is located atop a hill and one has to climb a lot of steps to reach the shrine.

The Thaipooyam festival is famous for temple music, various types of Kavadis, Shoolam, and Kavadiyattam. The festival is one of the most colorful festivals in the region.

The temple also observes Sashti fasting in every Malayalam month – the sixth day after Karutha Vavu or Amavasya.

The other festivals observed in the temple include Skanda Sashti and Thrikarthika.

The annual pratishta festival in the temple is held in Malayalam Edava Masam (May - June).
