Located around 12 km from Mangalore in Karnataka, Nandaneshwara Temple at Panambur is dedicated to Hindu

The temple was constructed in the 13th century by a local
ruler named Nandana Hegde.
The temple has separate shrines for Shiva, Ganesha, Kantheri
Dhoomavathi, Kodamanithayya and other deities. Nagas are located on south west
corner of the temple.
The most important festival is observed January – February
for nearly 10 days. The annual car festival is observed during the period. Huge
chariots which are lavishly decorated are pulled during the festival.
