Sant Sonaji Maharaj of Sonala near Buldana in Maharashtra .

On the Sonaji Maharaj Yatra day, thousands of
devotees pull a huge ratha or chariot dedicated to the great saint through the
village roads.
A dahi handi festival is also organized on
the day.
Sonaji Rath Yatra is annually observed
on the Kartik Krishna Paksha Dwitiya or the second day during the waning phase
of moon in Kartik month as per traditional Hindu Marathi calendar followed in Maharashtra .
