Pashana Chaturdashi

Pashana Chaturdashi is observed on the fourteenth day during the waxing phase of moon in Kartik month. The day is of great significance in Puri Jagannath Temple and in other Vishnu Temples. Pashana Chaturdashi 2025 date is November 4.

The Pashana means hills or sharp edged stones.

Special rituals are observed on the day at Puri Jagannath Temple. The day is also of importance to some communities in Kerala.
