Bhagvan Sri Ram Temple
at Ramtek in Maharashtra is associated with
the Ramayana legend. The annual yatra to the temple is held on the occasion of
Kartik Purnima. Kartik Purnima Yatra to Ram Temple
at Ramtek in 2024 is on November 15. The annual pilgrimage is also known as
Prabhu Ramachandra Devasthan Yatra at Shri Kshetra Ramtek.
The pilgrimage is observed for 10 days. The most important
date is the full moon day in Kartik Month.
Devotees take a holy bath at the Ambala Tank before
worshipping the deities in the Ram
Temple.
The yatra is undertaken by pilgrims from Maharashtra,
Odisha, Chhattisgarh and Andhra Pradesh.
