Sri Adikesava Embermanar Swamy Temple is located at Narsapur
in Andhra Pradesh. The shrine is located near the Vasista River (also known as
the Vasista Godavari). The temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu.
Sri Puppala Ramanappa Naidu, a translator working for the
British East India Company, constructed the temple around 300 years ago. The
temple is similar in architecture to the Sriperambadur Temple at Bhootapuri in
TamilNadu. So the temple is also known as Abhinava Bhootapuri.
The annual temple festival (Brahmostsavam) is observed in
Vaishakh month (April – May) and it attracts thousands of devotees.
