Ginger Beer bottle of ‘Brookvale Union’ based in Brookvale, New South Wales, Australia carries juxtaposed images of Hindu God Ganesh and Goddess Lakshmi. The website of Brookvale Union also carries a flash representation of the same image.

This happens all the time. Images of Hindu gods, goddesses and Hindu symbols quite often end up at the wrong place in commercials.
Commercials are meant to attract people’s attention. Maximum people. But Hinduism is only the third largest religion in the world.
So from a marketing point of view the first and second largest religions in the world should be used to garner maximum attraction. But rarely this happens. Wonder Why? It is the symbols of the third largest religion that is widely used in commercials and that too at the most inappropriate place.

What is the best way to work and yet be free in this very life? Swami Vipashananda

What is the best way to work and yet be free in this very life?
This is the subject of the first mantra of the – All this — whatsoever moves on earth — should be covered by the Lord. Protect (the Self) through detachment (which arises from this covering). Do not covet anyone’s wealth.’ The Shruti expressly states: ‘all this’.
Our usual notions about ‘I’ and ‘the world’ (that both are real) are incorrect, because these notions are changing continuously.
