Shankh or Conch is worshipped in Hindu homes. There is a
rule regarding number of Shankh that can be kept in the puja room in the house.
The conch used for worship should be placed in the puja room.
You can keep 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 Shankh in the puja room.
It is always ideal to keep just one Shankh in the puja room.
One should never keep two or four conch at home for worship.
