Thrissur Manikandanal temple is located in the Thekkinkadu Maidanam or Vadakkumnathan Temple Ground in Thrissur, Kerala. There are two temples here one dedicated to Ganapathi or Ganesha and another dedicated to Subrahmanya or Murugan. The annual Thaipooyam festival in Makara Masam (January – February) and Vinayaka Chaturthi festival in Chingamasam (August – September) are observed here.
This is a rectangular temple with two temples on adjacent sides. The deities face east. Ganapati is in sitting posture and Muruga is in standing posture.
Various homams, pujas and rituals are held in the temple. Unniappam and kozhukattai are the main offerings to Ganapathi here.
Velutha Paksha chaturthi and Sashti fasting days are observed in the temple.
