Kailash Manasarovar Yatra 2018 by Government of India – Dates and Application Forms for 2018 Yatra

Booking and Selection Process for the annual Kailash Manasarovar Yatra 2018 organized by the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, has begun. The Kailash Manasarovar Yatra is open to all Indian citizens, above 18 years of age and not attained 70 years, who wish to proceed to Kailash Manasarovar in China for religious purposes. Applications are available now. Last Date of Online Application is March 23, 2018. The yatra is through 2 routes Lipulekh Pass  (Uttarakhand) Total number of batches : 18 Duration : about 24 days. Estimated cost per person: Rs.1.6 Lakh.  Nathu La (Sikkim) Total number of batches : 10 Duration : about 21 days. Goddess Dantura

Dantura is a malevolent form of the Mother Goddess. She is invoked through tantric rites and is worshipped mainly in eastern parts of India. Dantura means one having fangs. "She is described as having bare canine teeth, rounded eyes, ghastly smile, emaciated body, lean and pendulous breasts, sunken belly and peculiar sitting posture." Some scholars equate her with Alakshmi.
