Hindu Temples and Religious Institutions Join In Reducing Greenhouse Gas Emissions

Thanks to the Kyoto Protocol for climate change, several Hindu Temples and religious institutions are now helping in reducing the gas emissions that are responsible for global warming. Tirupati Balaji Temple, Sringeri Mutt in Karnataka, Kalahasti Temple in Andhra Pradesh, and Ambaji Temple in Gujarat are now using solar community kitchens and similar applications to reduce emission of greenhouse gases. The Kyoto Protocol for climate change has set specific carbon emission reduction targets for countries around the world.
