The preparation is made using jaggery and puffed rice. To add to the taste some people add crushed fried groundnut, fried gram and finely chopped coconut. Cardomom powder and dried ginger powder enhances the taste.

The Preparation To make the preparation, firs jaggery is heated in a vessel and the impurities are removed.

Then a little water is taken in a thick-bottomed vessel and heated. The jaggery is added and is stirred without a break.

Thick syrup is made. The thickness should be as such that when dropped in cold water it should not dissolve. You should be able to roll it into a small ball.

To this syrup,  all the above mentioned ingredients are added. They are then mixed well.
When the mixture cools, apply ghee to the palm and roll it into round balls.

Satan Story Often Narrated by Jiddu Krishnamurti

Sri Jiddu Krishnamurti used to narrate a story associated with Satan.

Once, Satan and his sidekick were walking down the street. They were closely following a man who was on the verge of self-realization.

The sidekick was worried and implored Satan to do something to stop the man from realizing the Supreme Truth.

However, Satan remained unmoved.

The man soon attained the supreme truth. The doors of self-realization opened before him.

Satan still did nothing about it and appeared quite calm.

The sidekick was worried as there was no response from his master. He then asked Satan as to why he had not stopped the man from attaining self-realization.

To which Satan answered – Yes, he has realized the Truth. And now I am going to help him organize the Truth.
Satan cunningly smiled and walked.
