Chikkanahalli Nagappa Temple is located at Chikkanahalli
near Ramanagara in Bangalore, Karnataka. This is a very popular Naga or Snake
shrine in the region. The serpent temple is famous because it has a naturally
formed Naga murti (idol). It is also believed that the Naga murti worshipped in
the temple is growing in size.
The murti of Naga worshipped in the shrine is in sleeping
position on a huge stone slab.
