Kavalai Devi Yatra is observed in Ashwin month. It is the annual
fair and festival at the Kauvlai Devi Temple at Tembvali near Devgad. The jatra
attracts scores of devotees to the shrine. Kavalai Devi Yatra 2025 date is October 17.
Kavalai Devi is a manifestation of Mother Goddess Shakti.
She is an important village deity or Grama devata. She is also the family deity
of many people in the region.
Hundreds of people participate in the various rituals and
festivities organized as part of the yatra.

witness the annual event.
Kauvlai Devi Yatra at Tembvali is annually observed on
Ashwin Krishna Paksha Ekadasi tithi or the eleventh day during the waning phase
of moon in Ashwin month.
