Mahabharata Dance Theatre in United Kingdom

Mahabharata, the great Indian epic, is being presented as a dance theatre in UK. The Mahabharata Dance Theatre – which is a contemporary vision of the epic ancient Indian poem – is narrated through the eyes of Draupadi. It features an international ensemble of 26 dancers, singers and musicians. The Mahabharata is a Sadler's Wells co-production with Kalapi Jani for Gita Productions. The production has its world premiere at Sadler's Wells on 25th April. There will be performances at the Sadler’s on 26th, 27th and 28th April. Then the dance theatre tours the UK until July 2007.The Mahabharata is directed by Stuart Wood and written by Olivier Award-winning lyricist Stephen Clark production. The highlight of the Mahabharata theatre is a specially composed music score by multi-award winning Nitin Sawhney. This April Get Sabarimala Prasadam by Post

The Prasadam of the famous Sabarimala Ayyappa Shrine in Kerala can be availed by post during this month. The annual festival of this famous hill shrine concluded on Sunday, April 1, 2007. It seems the Prasadam that is to be dispatched by post is part of the annual festival. The prasadam despatch contains a sealed tin of ‘aravana’ (sweet dish), a packet of ‘appam’ in air tight cover, ‘viboothy,’ sandal paste, small amount of ‘abhisheka’ ghee, turmeric powder applied on Malikapuram Devi, a packet of vermillion, pepper from Vavar Swamy dargah, and a small postcard of Lord Ayyappa.
