Ezhilode Karat Sree Neeliyar Bhagavathi temple is located at Ezhilode in Kannur district, Kerala. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Neeliyar Bhagavathi. The annual theyyam thira kaliyattam festival is held for three days in Malayalam Vrischika Masam – Vrischikam 15 to Vrischikam 17 (December 1 to December 3).
The important theyyams that can be witnessed at Karattu Sree Neeliyar Bhagavathi temple are Neeliyar Bhagavathi theyyam, Vishnumoorthi theyyam, Oorpazhachi theyyam, Kutty theyyam and Gulikan theyyam.
The temple has a traditionally decorated chathura sreekovil
for the main deities. The are smaller sanctums for some deities. Certain
deities are worshipped atop small raised square platform which are exposed to the
elements. Some deities are worshipped under trees.
