Sarangapani Temple is an ancient and large temple dedicated to Hindu God Vishnu and his consort in Kumbakonam, Tamil Nadu. The annual festival in the temple is held in Chithirai Masam (April 14 to May 14). Kumbakonam Sarangapani Temple Festival 2025 dates are from April 30 to May 11, 2025.
The main ritual and highlight of the festival is the famous Therottam

month.
The fourth day of the festival is famous for the Thanga
Garuda Vahanam procession. Hanumantha Vahanam procession is held on the fifth
day of the festival.
Another seven-day festival known as Vidyatri Vizha is held after
the conclusion of the main festival. This festival concludes with the pushpa
pallakku or flower palanquin.
