Thottakonam Karippooru Bhagavathy Temple

Thottakonam Karippooru Bhagavathy temple is located on the banks of A chankovil River  at Thottakkonam in Pandalam, Pathanamthitta district, Kerala. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Bhagavathy or Devi. The temple is conducting Bhagavatha sapthaham for more than 75 years. The temple has a chathura sreekovil, chuttambalam and shrines of upa devatas. Bharani nakshatra day in Malayalam Kumbha Masam and Meena Masam are of great importance in the temple. Navratri and vidyarambham are observed in the temple. Tuesdays and Fridays are of importance at the shrine. The temple observes various Shakteya rituals during important occasions. Melam and ezhunellipu are held during important rituals and festivities.

Kaipattoor Thrippara Mahadeva Temple

Kaipattoor Thrippara Mahadeva temple is located on the banks of Achankovil River in Kaipattoor, Pathanamthitta district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Shiva – Mahadevar. The annual Shivratri festival is of great importance in the temple. The temple does not have a sreekovil or sanctum sanctorum. The main Shivling is worshipped in the open. Upa Devatas are worshipped in the temple. The temple has a kodimaram and other structures. Fortnightly pradosham day and Mondays are of importance in the temple. Annadanam is performed in the temple. Ezhunnallathu is part of the annual festival. The shrine gets flooded and shivling goes under water during monsoon season.

Vellamkulangara Durga Devi temple is located at Mullanikkadu, Omalloor-Thazhoor Kadavu Road, near Vazhamuttom in Pathanamthitta district, Kerala. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Bhagavathi. Bharani nakshatra day in Kumbha masam is of importance in the temple. The temple has a chathura sreekovil, namaskara mandapam and shrines of upa devatas. The annual festival in the temple is famous for unique Shakteya rituals. Melam, traditional temple art forms of Kerala, ezhunnallathu and temple music are part of the annual festival. Omalloor Palliyarakavu Devi Temple

Omalloor Palliyarakavu Devi temple is located at Omalloor in Pathanamthitta district, Kerala. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Bhagavathy or Devi. This is a very small shrine and it is privately owned. There are no major structures here. The murti of Palliyarakkavu Devi was initially worshiped in the open. Now it has a small chathura sreekovil. There are shrines of upa devatas in the same compound. The most important days for performing puja are Tuesdays and Fridays. Those facing problems in getting married find relief after offering prayers here. The temple is never crowded and is a silent spot for worship and meditation.

Kumarapuram Pazhantheruvu Ganapati Temple

Kumarapuram Pazhantheruvu Ganapati temple is located at Kumarapuram in Palakkad district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Ganesha or Mahaganapati. The shrine observes the annual Vinayaka Chaturthi in Malayalam Chingamasam. There are no major structures at the temple. The shrine is exclusively dedicated to Ganapathi. The deity faces east and is in sitting posture. The shrine observes special pujas during Shukla paksha Chaturthi – the fourth day after new moon day or Amavasya. The shrine performs various pujas and rituals including homams and vahana puja. The deity is offered prayers before all auspicious events. The belief is that the deity removes all kinds of obstacles in life.
