Munroe Island Sri Krishna Temple

Munroe Island Sri Krishna temple is located on the Munroe Island - Perumon Road at Pattamthuruth in Munroe Island, Kollam district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to Bhagavan Sri Krishna. Ashtami Rohini (Sri Krishna Jayanti) is an important festival in the temple. The temple has an east facing chathura sreekovil. There are also shrines of upa devatas. The temple observes Vishu, Ramayana Masam and other Vaishnava auspicious days including Ekadashi. Sri Krishna Jayanti is observed with pujas, rituals and uriyadi. Manappady Kadambottaya Narasimha Temple

Manappady Kadambottaya Narasimha temple is located at Manappady – Pathaikkara near Perinthalmanna in Malappuram district, Kerala. The shrine is dedicated to the Sree Narasimha Moorthy Avatar of Bhagavan Vishnu. The temple was completely destroyed by Tipu Sultan. The head of the murti of Narasimha worshipped in the temple was cut off during the Moplah Lahala in which thousands of Hindus were killed and many forcibly converted to Islam. The temple has been renovated and new murti of Bhagwan Narasimha installed in the temple. The sankalpam of Narasimha here is that of his peaceful form blessing and guiding young Prahlada. The shrine observes various festivals associated with Vishnu including Vishu, Narasimha Jayanti, Ramayana Masam, Ashtami Rohini, Thiruvonam and Thrikarthika. Ekadashi and Chaturdashi tithi are important in the temple.

Pathaikkara Subrahmanya Swamy Temple

Pathaikkara Subrahmanya Swamy temple is located at Alancheery – Pathaikkara near Perinthalmanna in Malappuram district, Kerala. The temple is dedicated to Murugan or Subrahmanya. Thaipooyam in Makara Masam (January or February) and Skanda Sashti Thulam masam (October or November) are two important festivals in the temple. Sri Krishna Mandir In Patan Durbar Square Lalitpur Nepal – Story – Architecture

The magnificent and beautiful Sri Krishna Mandir is located on the west side of Patan Durbar Square at Lalitpur, Nepal. The temple was built in 1637 CE by one of the great Malla kings, Siddhi Narsingh.
