Bansberia Ananta Basudev Temple

Bansberia Ananta Basudev Temple is located at Bansberia, around 48 km from Howrah, in West Bengal. The shrine is dedicated to Bhagavan Sri Krishna and the temple is noted for its breathtaking architecture. History Of Bansberia Ananta Basudev Temple – the temple was built in 1679 CE by Rameswar Datta, an ardent follower of Vaishnavism. The temple is built on typical ekaratna style seen throughout Bengal and in some other regions of eastern parts of India. The shrine has an octagonal-shaped single pinnacle and a curved cornice.
