Sati Ansuya Mata Mandir is a popular religious place at ParadsingaVillage near Nagpur in Maharashtra. The temple is dedicated to Sati Ansuya Mata a popular female saint – who lived during the 19th century. She was a great saint in the Bhakti tradition in Maharashtra. She performed numerous miracles during her lifetime.
Sati Ansuya Mata was born on 5th May, 1926 and she left her physical body on 10 January, 1997. During her stay on earth she helped the needy and poor, she cured the illness of many people, she brought water to dried wells, she showed the correct path to her devotees…innumerable are her miracles.
Sati Ansuya Mata Mandir is the place where Sati Ansuya Mata left her physical body.
The temple complex is divided into three parts – Dhuni, Dhyan Mandir and Samadhi Mandir.
Dhuni Mandir is where one can see an eternal flame which is burning continuously. Udi, the sacred ash of the fire, is considered very powerful and pious and it is distributed among devotees.

Kunwara Bhivsen Temple at Nagpur in Maharashtra – Kunwara Bhimsen Mandir

KunwaraBhivsenTemple at Navegaon near Nagpur in Maharashtra is dedicated to Kunwara Bhimsen, a deity worshipped by Gonds, Other tribals and Hindus in the region. Kunwara Bhimsen is believed to be a manifestation of Mahadev Shiva. He is also the fourth Dharma Guru of the Gond Tribe.
Kunwara Bhimsen Mandir is located atop hill and is surrounded by small hills with forts. The murti worshipped in the temple is smeared with kumkum and is red in color.



There is a shallow well nearby which is always filled with water.

Hatkeshwar Mahadev – About Hatkeshwar Form of Shiva

Hatkeshwar Mahadev is one of the manifestations of Hindu God Shiva. Hatkeshwar is the patron deity of the Nagar community in India. There is an interesting story that explains the appearance of Shiva as Hatkeshwar Mahadev.
After death of Sati, Shiva lost his interest in worldly life and started roaming around in inept state. He roamed naked all around the world and once he walked into an ashram of a group of sages. Shiva who looked like a naked yogi garnered attention of all the people. The wives of the sages were attracted to Shiva and the husbands noticed lust in their wives eyes for Shiva.

The sages considered this naked yogi as a distraction and cursed him. They cursed that the naked yogi become impotent. This caused great upheaval in nature as Shakti cannot reproduce without Shiva. All creation came to a standstill. There were no births and only there was death all around.

When we go to fish in a lake, we take a fishing rod and line, with bait fixed to it. We cast the line and bait into the lake and wait patiently. We may not have seen fishes in that lake. We have only heard from others who have fished there. Our Shradha in their words makes us go to the lake and verify the truth of their statement.
We sit for a long time and yet fail to catch a fish. But by this alone we do not conclude that there is no fish in the lake.
We come again the next day and keep striving. What is the basis of this unremitting effort? It is the dynamic faith that there is fish in the lake.
All great discoveries in the fields of science and religion are the result of such a positive attitude and the action based on such an attitude. Finally when we catch a fish, our belief turns into a verified truth.
