Kurundwad Yatra in Kolhapur District of Maharashtra

Kurundwad Yatra is annually observed in Magh month. It is undertaken to a sacred place (temple or mandir) located at Kurundwad in Kolhapur District, Maharashtra. The town is located around 43 km east of Kolhapur and around 17 km from Ichalkaranji. Kurundwad Yatra 2025 date is February 27.

The Yatra attracts hundreds of devotees. People also flock to the fair and festival organized during the period.

Processions, pujas, various rituals, traditional music, dance and food are the part of the festivities.

Kurundwad Yatra is observed on Magh Krishna Paksha Chaturdashi Tithi or the fourteenth day during the waning phase of moon in Magh month as per traditional Hindu lunar calendar followed in Maharashtra.
