Bangalore to Kerala Onam 2010 Special Trains - Bangalore to Ernakulam

Southern Railway of Indian Railways has announced special trains for Onam festival in 2010 from Bangalore to Kerala. The 2010 Special Onam festival trains are from Bangalore to Erankulam to Banglore JN. The train will have stops at Aluva, Thrisur, Palakkad, Podanur, Tiruppur, Erode, Salem, Tirupattur, Kuppam, Bangarapet, Whitefield, Krishnarajapuram and Bangalore Cantt.The reservation for the below trains will commence from August 8, 2010.From Bangalore the trains to Ernakulam are on August 20, August 21, August 24, August 25, and August 27, 2010.From Ernakulam to Bangalore the trains are on August 19, August 20, August 23, August 24 and August 26, 2010.0653/ 0654 Ernakulam Jn – Bangalore – Ernakulam Jn. Chovoth 2017 Date in Goa – Ganesh Chaturthi Festival in Goa

Chovoth festival is the name of the popular Ganesh Chaturthi festival in Goa. Chovoth 2017 date is August 25. It is observed on the fourth day of the Shukla Paksha of Bhadrapad Month as per traditional Hindu lunar calendar. The Chovoth celebration last for more than a week and begins with the brining of clay Ganesh Murti home.
Ganesh is worshipped in homes and in public pandals during the period. People also organize community and neighborhood pujas.
During the entire week of celebrations special delicacies like modak, pattoli, and neuryo are made at homes and are shared with friends, relatives and neighbors.
